Matthew 15:1-20

1Jesus Challenges the Tradition of the Elders Mark 7:1-23

Then some Pharisees and scribes came from Jerusalem to Jesus and said,Mark 7:1
2“Why do your disciples disregard the tradition of the elders? For they don't wash their hands when they eat.”

12Then the disciples came and said to him, “Do you realize that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this statement?”

13He replied, “Every plant that my heavenly Father did not plant will be pulled up by the roots.John 15:2; 1Cor 3:12 14Leave them alone. They are blind guides of the blind.
